A letter to the future

FROM ME, TO ME

Dear Me,

Hi graduated Nicolle from my future, I really hope you have success in

these past two years. Now, in 2020, you are doing homeschooling due to
the coronavirus pandemic, you have been six or seven months without
seeing all of your friends and without parties or going outside for
anything. You are giving the best on school and your grades got better,
anyways not all is fine, Guatemala is passing through a hard time
economically and politically and so your family. By this time, you were
thinking a lot about your future, you are so determined by studying
medicine, but who knows jaja maybe now you are studying another thing
that I am sure you like a lot.
By the time you are reading this, you are in 2022, and I think that you
graduated from school with very good grades and had an amazing prom
party with all your friends and memories going out and, of course, a
dream dress jaja; now you enter to one of your universities options and
you are studying something interesting and good for the population
(please).
You have always been a good girl with extremely crazy ideas, I really
hope you still are kind and generous with everyone not leaving aside the
humbleness, of course! You are smart, Monita, please, be careful with
your actions and thoughts, now you are more mature than in 2020, so do
always the best for your soul and be happy.
I hope that this first year of university can be really good and useful,
remember that you used to think that you can change Guatemala little
by little doing something good for the others.
Of course, you are not perfect, remember that, you have your ups and
downs, and please resolve the thing with the laziness and tiredness that
is really a problem, you lazy girl. Please, do some exercise, get a better
version of you young lady and be attentive to your relationships.
Nicolle, be someone please, a good person, a strong woman, empower
yourself, MAKE YOUR MOTHER PROUD (and so to your Abuelon,
remeber that he always believes in you), I force you to continue trusting
in God and never stop dreaming and believing in yourself, strive for what
you want and make it come true. STAY STRONG AND TRUE TO
YOURSELF
