Dear Colleagues,

It is our greatest pleasure to welcome you to 5th edition of the World Congress for CI in Emerging
Nations. This year; the Congress is organized by Global Cochlear implant Access Network (GCIAN)
in collaboration with Egyptian Society for CI and OTOALEX. Our goal is to discuss the barriers facing
widespread access to cochlear implants and other hearing devices in emerging countries to provide
a platform for multidisciplinary discussions of solutions towards improving disparities in the delivery
of prosthetic hearing devices. Our aim also is to provide the latest updates in CI and to encourage
the cooperation between developed & emerging countries specially in training CI Professional in well
recognized CI centres.

This year our outstanding Scientific sessions will be conducted by eminent 140 National & 65
International Faculty from all over the world through Keynote lectures; Plenary Sessions; Focus
sessions; Interactive Sessions; Round Table; Instruction Courses; Workshops; Free Papers.
We are very much looking forward to meeting you all as fellow professionals with a shared passion
for helping people with hearing problems through implantable technologies.
