LIKE FOUR EYES WIDE OPEN ON A MAJESTIC
LANDSCAPE, SEEM TO EMERGE FROM THE EARTH’S
BOWELS TO INVITE US TO ADMIRE.

● THE NATURAL VIEW OF SHARDS OF ROCK AND ITS SURROUNDINGS LANDSCAPE


AND THE RAW FINISH MAKES IT STAND OUT.

● THE COMPARISON OF FLUID, INTERCONNECTED
VOLUMES, CARVES WITHIN THE MOUNTAINS AND
INFORMED BY THE GEOLOGY AND TOPOGRAPHY OF
ITS CONTEXT
● THE CIRCULATION AND THE TERRACE THAT
PROJECTS 6M FROM THE MOUNTAINSIDE GIVING A
240 DEGREE PANORAMA ACROSS THE VIEW
● THE MUSEUMS GOES FURTHER MORE INTO THE
MOUNTAIN AND THEN EMERGE WITH THREE
ELEMENTS, WHICH EVENTUALLY BECAME A BALCONY
AND LARGE WINDOWS, PROJECTING FORWARD
FROM THE SLOPE TO FRAME THE SILHOUETTE OF
THE THREE MOUNTAIN MASSIFS OF THE ZILLERTAL,
ORTLER, AND DOLOMITES.

● ZAHA HADID IS A TRUE INSPIRATION AS SHE STANDS OUT OF HER WAY THINKING
LATERALLY , AS SO, DID SHE WITH THIS PROJECT, PLACING THE ORDERS IN ITS
NATURAL CONTEXT.

● I WOULD LOVE TO TAKE MY WAY THROUGH THE SIGHT AND WOULD APPLY MY
THOUGHTS AND GAIN KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN
ARCHITECTURE TO NATURE, AND HOW CAN WE MAKE ARCHITECTURE A PART OF
ITS EXISTING SURROUNDINGS WITHOUT OVERPOWERING ONE ANOTHER ( i.e)
NATURE- (to)- STRUCTURE, WITH THE ELEMENTS, FINISHES AND THE COLORS
COORDINATING AND COMPLEMENTING WITH BLENDING INTO ITS SITE.
4. AIM :

● ZAHA HADID AIMED TO RESTORE THE ESSENCE OF THE MOUNTAINS, THE


EXPLORING TRADITIONS, HISTORY AND THE DISCIPLE OF MOUNTAINEERING.

FURTHER THE ARCHITECT SPEAKS OF HER PROJECT AS (IN HER WORDS) :

“The idea is that visitors can descend within the mountain to explore its caverns and
grottos, before emerging through the mountain wall on the other side, out onto the
terrace overhanging the valley far below with spectacular, panoramic views.”

● ALSO SHED LIGHT ON ALPINISM WITH THE HELP OF RELIES , THOUGHTS, WORKS
OF ART AND BY REFLECTING THE OUTSIDE MOUNTAIN BACKLOTH IN THE
INTERIORS OF THE MUSEUM.
