Critique of the play waiting

1. The play is all about the sacrifice of the mother just to give her son a beautiful
future.

2. Characters: Isabel, Miguel, Roberto

SETTING: Vancouver, Canada
PLOT: Isabel was an English teacher that goes to Canada to earn big amount of
money to send her son to university. She let go her husband because it has an a
fair but Miguel is blaming her of that Miguel twins that Isabel don’t love him so he
become arrogant but Isabel is doing her best to give all the needs of her son.

Theme: let’s value all the efforts that our mother did cause she’s doing it for our
sake not for her own.

3. The waiting is about waiting for the time to come that they wil be back as
before where in. They didn’t even Talking waiting for her bonding and a lot more
of thing that mother and son should do.

4. It is just Prove that education will be your weapon and yes that’s the view of
some Canadian of the Filipinos they think that Filipinos are dumb they be little us
that’s why education is important.

5. I understand Miguel because I can’t blame him because he doesn’t understand

the situation yet but I think they just need to understand him and soon explain to
him why his mother go abroad.

6. He just want to go back to the Philippines and feel the love of a mother that
Isabel can’t give him a time because of her jobs.
