2003: Started swimming lessons

2004: Started skating lessons
2006: Started dance lessons
2010: Started Portuguese class at First Portuguese School
2012: Learned how to play the clarinet
2013: Started skiing
2016: Drivers license
2017: High school diploma
2017: First job: Server at The Wingery restaurant
2019: Bought my first car
2019: CPR/ First Aid certificate
2019: Started the Esthetics program at Georgian College
d. Drawing my own timeline has shown me that I have made many
accomplishments throughout my life. While brainstorming I also realized that there
are many goals that I have yet to achieve. I aspire to expand on my knowledge and
skills in the future and hope to create many more memorable milestones.
e. When I look over all of the things that I have done, I have to say that I really
enjoyed the experience of my first job at The Wingery restaurant. Working as a
server has helped me expand on many key skills including communication,
problem solving and customer service. I also made new friends during my time
there which made working that much more enjoyable.
f. I think I could train someone to speak Portuguese. I have been able to speak
Portuguese for majority of my life as it is one of the main languages spoken
amongst my family. I decided to further expand my knowledge by attending
Portuguese school to improve and become more fluent. With my knowledge I feel
confident in being able to teach someone the basics of the Portuguese language.
