1. ¿Por qué elegiste tu programa de grado actual?

I am a passionate person, full of curiosity. It is difficult for a person like me to choose one
degree as it means discarding the other options. I studied science at school to become an
architect as I thought it to be a creative and interesting career. However, during these years I
became really interested in entrepreneurship and business. I started watching videos talking
about business strategies, marketing, changes in technology… At that moment I was realizing
that even if the idea of being an architect sounded good in my mind, I was just thinking about the
4 years of degree and not about the more than 30 years of career that I had ahead. What
motivated me? In what could I spend 8 hours every day and still keep the interest and the
willingness to learn more? With these reflexions I ended up choosing a Bachelor in Business
Administration. This was a degree in which I would learn about many things and it was a career
in which I would be always learning new things, as it is rapidly changing.

2. ¿Por qué mereces ganar la Beca EF para Estudiar en el Extranjero y participar en el

programa de idiomas?

I have studied so hard and I have pledged to my parents so many times to give me the
opportunity to study abroad, that I couldn’t imagine anyone making the most of this experience
as I would. After my degree, I want to follow a career in international business and EF is a
company that I know, I respect a lot and thanks to which I have been abroad. It would be a huge
step to do this studying internship as it goes with what I want in the future. I have been working
as a sales assistant in Tous to be able to pay my Erasmus, which shows how I would profit this
opportunity with joy and gratitude. I deserve this because I strongly believe that this programme
is made for me and that I am going to show what I am capable of. I am ready to give the 200%,
to do my best all the programme. Ready to start this new adventure and learn the most of it.

3. ¿Cómo te beneficiarás de este programa a medida que continúes tus estudios y en tu

futura carrera profesional?

As I have mentioned before I want to specialize in international business and this

programmes gives me the global view that I am missing. I have always been learning
languages and trying to read about different cultures but at the end I have had just two really
short experiences abroad (both thanks to EF in fact). What I mean with this is that I think that
I cannot really speak about international business or anything like that without having really
integrated into the american culture for example. Thus, the english lessons will really help
me because even if I feel confident writing in english I am little by little losing fluency in the
oral part. I think this experience would be a turnabout in my life and that if I am lucky to be in
this programme I am going to learn not just about english but also about life, about living
abroad, being more independent and going out from my comfort zone.
