A few years ago, my father founded his own company and ever since I was little, he taught me how to

manage my money, how to express myself correctly and how to always be open to new ideas,
opportunities, or even suggestions that may help me in the future, using his own company as an
example. That is why I have always had a keen interest in the business world. Three years ago, I
started studying economics in 10th grade of Spanish HS. It was at this point of my life when I
discovered my passion for it. I then decided to study the IB Diploma Programme because it offered
me the chance to study Business Management in view of the fact that it resumes all of my devotions,
putted into practice. I am currently studying the second year of IB.

I am looking forward to studying a BBA or a double-grade studies related to business management

because I really enjoy disciplines. I believe I fit perfectly in and manage myself into this degree
because, as I have recently mentioned, I am very passionate about this specialty and I really like and
enjoy learning about economics. In addition, I have experience in terms of entrepreneurial projects
because I participated in the contest organized by Caixa bank, The Challenge, in which I was among
the 25 best projects out of the 1,000 presented, alongside my teammates. Besides that, I have also
volunteered in an animal rescue and in a few social-related activities.

My maternal family has Japanese origins and my paternal Spanish. Thanks to that, I have a great
knowledge in terms of cultural diversity, since, alongside my parents, I have gotten to know many
countries and diverse cultures that have helped me develop my cultural knowledge and international
respect. I have a basic knowledge about the Japanese lenguaje, I am fully bilingual in English and
Spanish, and I have also studied French for 4 academic years. I play volleyball in my school team as a
middle-blocker, I really enjoy solving riddles or problems or teaming up with my friends or
classmates to work as a team.

About a year and a half ago, I suffered an anxiety episode that nearly cost me a whole academic year. I
thought that it was the end of my academic and social life, that I wasn't strong enough to keep on with
my life and with my studies, also because I was also recently diagnosed with ADHD. I didn't believe in
myself, until my way of thinking and perceiving life changed. I started to gain trust in myself and
become more ambitious and vying. This has become one of my main attributes. My ambition and
self-trust have helped me to reach my goals. It has given me the opportunity to demonstrate that I am
capable of anything and that not even a mental disorder can make me give up, which demonstrates
one of my unique personality traits, that makes me a valuable member of the university community.
Some family members and some of my parents' friends have advised me to study in the CEU
university because they believe this has great and very high academic performances. I also have some
friends that are currently studying the bachelor programme and they have told me that the CEU has
a nearly perfect student’s performances, very good and highly qualified professors and they also have
a great and big family . My expectations towards the CEU university are based on the professional
outing, the learning outcomes I can gain and most importantly, the professional experience that I can
acquire after having worked and studied every day in a real company.

When I finish my university degree, my goal is to start my master's studies, specifically on marketing.
After finishing this specialization, my objective is to found an entrepreneurial project/company
focused on the animal-society relationship. In a 5 to 10 period of time, I see myself working as a CEO
of my own company or working in the márketing department of a well known and important
enterprise. I have always had a very present interest towards the fashion market, the publicity area of
studies, specially in the study of consumer behavior . That is why I believe I will be working in a
company related to fashion, consumer relations or in an entertainment firm , such as Amazon,
Inditex or even Netflix.
