IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 51 of the Environmental Quality Act 1974 [Act 127], the
Minister, after consultation with the Environmental Quality council, makes the following regulations:

Regulations 1. Citation and commencement

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Environmental Quality (Prescribed Premises) (Scheduled
Wastes Treatment and Disposal Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations 2006.

(2) These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2006.

Regulations 2. Amendment of paragraph 2

2. The Environmental Quality (Prescribed Premises) (Scheduled Wastes Treatment and Disposal
Facilities) Regulations 1989 [P.U. (A) 141/1989] is amended in paragraph 2, in the interpretation of
“scheduled wastes”, by substituting for the words “Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes)
Regulations 1989” the words “Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005 [P.U. (A)
294/2005]”.
