IDENTIFICATION OF ISSUES

The case is all about rape. This was happened last March 2019 in Lapu-lapu City in Visayas. A
16 years old named Christine Lee Silawan. She was a member of Church ministry. One night,
she had to go to Church but she never came back. Her mother was so worried and tried to find
her. Little did they know that Christine was to meet someone.
The next morning, a dead body found in the field. The investigators cannot identify the identity
of the dead body because it was murdered like an animal. The skin and muscles on her face
carved clean right down to the bone, revealing the skull, eyeballs still intact. She also
had over 30 stab wounds on different parts of her body, some of these were defense
wounds. Police had a hard time identifying the victim because of what was done to her
face. Eventually, they identified her as Christine based on DNA results. Her mother was
inconsolable.
Month later, police arrested 42 year old man named Renato Llenes. He said that they
had a relationship. Christine didn’t know that she had to meet Renato, because he used
dummy account to chat with the victim. He became jealous because Christine had so
many male chat mates. He said they argued, he got angry so he killed her.
Before the police arrested the culprit, they are some accused suspects. But good to hear
that the real suspect hit his conscience and able to confessed his crime.
