Two Main Catalysts That Bother Us Everyday

Two factors affect us in daily life, ANXIETY and ANGER. These

are basic tenets of everyday emotions. However there are
many others, equally strong and important emotions we all go
through. Since your time is of the essence, let us look into
these two aspects. This is not a secret potion or a magic spell,
yet not many people practice it.
ANGER! GRRRRRRRRRRR...

Anger is your body and mind's way of saying I DON'T LIKE

WHAT JUST HAPPENED! Your body temperature rises, and
your mind is screaming inside to rip the head of the person
who triggered this awful anger in you.

ANGER IS NORMAL, BUT DON’T SUPPRESS IT

I completely
complete believe that having such thoughts are normal. We
have to understand one basic fact about humans, and this fact
has never been put across in such a beautiful manner like Dale
Carnegie has:

“When dealing with people, let us remember we are not dealing

with creatures of logic. We are dealing with creatures of emotion,
creatures bristling with prejudices and motivated by pride and
vanity”. DALE CARNEGIE
No matter how educated we are, we always take sides, we
always assume, we do tend to put ourselves in the center of
it all. Be it in good situations or bad. Anger is blossomed out
of feelings of betrayal or utter stupidity. Am I not right? Here
are some tips to deal with anger. Remember, none can
escape anger, but we can deal with it.

Take responsibility and express your feelings. I know

sometimes people are so stupid,
stupid that you do not see reason
to bother. Then it is time for you to just walk out of the
situation, gather your thoughts and come back.

Trace back: This suggestion might sound downright moronic,

but it is valid. Once you attain a calm state of mind, try and
trace the scene backwards, like how they do in movies. Look
back and see why, who, and how they made you angry. This
will help you understand the situation better, once you know
what exactly set you off, then you can work on setting it right,
or seek some form of justice, harmless justice that is.
Watch your reaction: Anger is such that, it takes us down
completely and when we grapple with it and try to fight back
and set our points straight, that is where things can go awkward
or even disastrous. Remove yourself from the scene, calm
yourself and then address the issue/person.

What you should remember is WORDS MAKE AN INDELIBLE

MARK. Words cut through sharper than the sharpest of surgical
knives. Since it is difficult to control what we say when we burst
out in ANGER, take a timeout and then come back. If you have
a friend or loved ones around, talk to them, tell them how you
feel. Good and keen listening will help dissipate the ANGER.

ANXIETY: OH IT’S OKAY, DON’T WORRY

Aren't we all anxious about many things in life. Our inhibitions,

worries, fear, all make us anxious around people and situations
which taunt our deepest pain points. It is in fact absolutely okay
to be anxious, but it isn't comfortable as sitting on an easy chair.
There are two part reactions to deal with anxiety.

PUBLIC SPEAKING POLICE TALKING TO

PARENTS
We need the balls to put ourselves in an anxious situation
knowingly. Public speaking for example. Sometimes we have to
kn
face a large crowd. It makes us bone shakingly anxious and fills us
with fear too. Let me give you a bigger example. How would it
feel when you are about to become a parent for the first time?
How does it make you feel when you head out of the bar on a
Friday night, and you see cops approaching your vehicle to check
if you are drunk as a skunk?
The second thing to do is, approach anxiety methodically. You
have to break your inhibitions down and understand why,
where, and how you feel anxious. Seek help if you can, once you
have the right reasons as to what makes you anxious, you can
slowly work towards reducing the anxiety.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE

INTERNET READING BOOKS TALKING TO TALKING TO

PEOPLE YOURSELF

Let us take
ta public speaking as an example again. If facing a large
crowd makes you anxious, then start speaking within your
closest group of friends or family, talk about sports if you like,
about movies, or anything which you are passionate about.
Remember, passion punches ANXIETY in the face. Increase the
size of the group gradually, until you find it manageable to
address a decent crowd. Even the big stage performers feel
anxious DO NOT WORRY.
