Guide in writing the overview: Tungkol saan ang buong yunit/ markahan?
Ano ang mga tatalakayin sa buong markahan? Ano ang inaasahang pag-
aaralan at matututunan ng mag-aaral? Ano ang mga gagawing kasanayan?
Ano ang kahalagahang maidudulot ng mga ito sa mag-aaral bilang Katolikong
kabataan at bilang bahagi ng kaniyang pamilya, pamayanan at ng bansa?

PANIMULANG PAGTATAYA
For both pre- and post-assessment, review the guidelines on test construction.
Matapos ang isang araw ng talakayan at mga kasanayan, ang mga mag-aaral
ay inaasahang:

If the textbook(s) is/are used as part of the instructional materials, cite the
book correctly as a reference material.

This is the part where your creativity and resourcefulness as a teacher come
in. Also, be realistic. Be reminded that you and your students are not inside the
classroom. Make sure your activities (quantity and quality) are doable vis-à-
vis the number of days allotted for the particular lesson.
Also the items listed from 1 to 4 are merely guides. Hindi po ibig sabihin
susundin ito in a very strict manner. Pwede po nagpapalit-palit at umuulit ang
pagtalakay at Gawain, bago ang pormatibong pagtataya. May mga
pagkakataong pwedeng marami ang gawain, may pagkakataong isa lang or in
extreme cases and situations, walang activity.
For the activities, include video materials, film clips, TV commercials, etc that
are available in the internet. Always acknowledge the sources by indicating the
links.
TAKDANG ARALIN
This is optional and depends on the pace/ flow of your discussion vis-à-vis
the no of days allotted for the lesson. It can be an actual work they have to
answer, an exercise found in their book, a reading assignment, etc. It can
also be a “part” of the major performance task. For example if the
performance task is a short film, you can ask them to start brainstorming on
the possible themes, topics, or depending on where they are with their PT,
you can ask them to start writing the story and the screenplay of their short
film.
PANAPOS NA PAGTATAYA
The post-assessment is again, based on Lesson No. 1. You have the same
coverage, but you have to be creative in constructing the assessment. You can
have the same type of test but not the same questions; otherwise it is merely a
duplication of the pre-assessment. Try to vary the level of difficulty. For
example, the pre-assessment is identification type but with clues like the first
letter of the correct answer is given (Blockbuster). But for the post-assessment,
no clues will be given.
For both pre- and post-assessment, review the guidelines on test construction.
For Aralin Bilang 2, you will now immediately start with this part. Hindi na po
lilitaw ang “first parts.”
