PANGKAHALATANG NILALAMAN

Guide in writing the overview: Tungkol saan ang buong yunit/ markahan?
Ano ang mga tatalakayin sa buong markahan? Ano ang inaasahang pag-
aaralan at matututunan ng mag-aaral? Ano ang mga gagawing kasanayan?
Ano ang kahalagahang maidudulot ng mga ito sa mag-aaral bilang Katolikong
kabataan at bilang bahagi ng kaniyang pamilya, pamayanan at ng bansa?

Mga Mahalagang Bahagi ng Pangkahalatang Nilalaman:

1. Talaan ng mga Aralin (should be in tabular format, similar to table of
contents)

Mahalagang Panuto para sa Mag-aaral

Ano ang dapat tandaan at gawin ng bata upang maging makabuluhan ang
pag-aaral gamit ang modyul? Ano ang mga dapat isaayos upang mas maging
kaaya-aya ang kaniyang pagkatuto? Ano ang mga dapat iwasan? Ano ang
mga makakabuti para sa kaniya sa tamang paggamit ng modyul?

Mahalagang Paalala para sa mga Magulang

Ano ang mahalagang papel na dapat gampanan ng magulang? Ano ang mga
dapat at hindi dapat gawin ng magulang habang nag-aaral ang kaniyang anak
sa loob ng kanilang pamamahay? Ano ang mga dapat iwasan?

LAYUNIN / MAHAHALAGANG MGA KASANAYAN

Isulat po ang lahat ng MELC’s ng DepEd for the First Quarter
Matapos ang unang markahan, ang mga mag-aaral ay inaasahang:

1.Nasasabi ang batayang impormasyon tungkol sa sarili: pangalan, magulang,

kaarawan, edad, tirahan, paaralan, iba pang pagkakakilanlan at mga katangian
bilang Pilipino,
2. Nailalarawan ang pansariling pangangailangan: pagkain, kasuotan at iba pa
at mithiin para sa Pilipinas,
3. Natutukoy ang mga mahahalagang pangyayari at pagbabago sa buhay simula
isilang hanggang kasalukuyang edad gamit ang mga larawan at timeline,
4. Nakapaghihinuha ng konsepto ng pagpapatuloy at pagbabago sa
pamamagitan ng pagsasayos ng mga larawan ayon sa pagkakasunod-sunod,
5. Naihahambing ang sariling kwento o karanasan sa buhay sa kwento at
karanasan ng mga kamag-aral, ibang miymebro ng pamilya gaya ng mga
kapatid, mga magulang (noong sila ay nasa parehong edad), mga pinsan at iba
pa; o mga kapitbahay, at;
6. Naipagmamalaki ang sariling pangarap o ninananais sa pamamagitan ng
mga malikhaing pamamaraan.

PANIMULANG PAGTATAYA

The pre-assessment is based on the coverage of Lesson 1 only, not on the

entire first quarter.

For both pre- and post-assessment, review the guidelines on test construction.

It is important that the pre- and post-assessment are related in terms of

coverage or topics. The pre-assessment serves as a “diagnostic test” i.e., to
gauge your learners’ prior knowledge of the topic. On the other hand, the
post-assessment measures how much your learners have learned after the
discussion and activities. The post-assessment can have a relatively higher
degree of difficulty than the pre-assessment.

ARALIN BILANG 1 – IPAKILALA ANG SARILI

Matapos ang isang araw ng talakayan at mga kasanayan, ang mga mag-aaral
ay inaasahang:

1. Masasabi ang mga batayang impormasyon tungkol sa sarili: pangalan, edad,

kaarawan, magulang, tirahan, paaralan, at iba pang pagkakakilanlan,
2. Mailalarawan ang mga pisikal na katangian sa pamamagitan ng iba’t-ibang
malikhaing pamamaraan, at;
3. Mapahahalagaan ang mga katangiang nagpapakilala sa sariling katangian at
pagkakakilanlan.

book correctly as a reference material.

This is the part where your creativity and resourcefulness as a teacher come
in. Also, be realistic. Be reminded that you and your students are not inside the
classroom. Make sure your activities (quantity and quality) are doable vis-à-
vis the number of days allotted for the particular lesson.

Also the items listed from 1 to 4 are merely guides. Hindi po ibig sabihin
susundin ito in a very strict manner. Pwede po nagpapalit-palit at umuulit ang
pagtalakay at Gawain, bago ang pormatibong pagtataya. May mga
pagkakataong pwedeng marami ang gawain, may pagkakataong isa lang or in
extreme cases and situations, walang activity.

Refrain from doing a “copy-paste” of what is discussed in the book.

For the activities, include video materials, film clips, TV commercials, etc that
are available in the internet. Always acknowledge the sources by indicating the
links.

Makakatulong din po na mai-incorporate ang approach na PAGTUKLAS

(EXPLORE), PAGLINANG (FIRM-UP), PAGPAPALALIM (DEEPEN),
PAGLIPAT (TRANSFER). Pwede pong dito mag-appear ang transfer task.

TAKDANG ARALIN

This is optional and depends on the pace/ flow of your discussion vis-à-vis
the no of days allotted for the lesson. It can be an actual work they have to
answer, an exercise found in their book, a reading assignment, etc. It can
also be a “part” of the major performance task. For example if the
performance task is a short film, you can ask them to start brainstorming on
the possible themes, topics, or depending on where they are with their PT,
you can ask them to start writing the story and the screenplay of their short
film.

PANAPOS NA PAGTATAYA

The post-assessment is again, based on Lesson No. 1. You have the same
coverage, but you have to be creative in constructing the assessment. You can
have the same type of test but not the same questions; otherwise it is merely a
duplication of the pre-assessment. Try to vary the level of difficulty. For
example, the pre-assessment is identification type but with clues like the first
letter of the correct answer is given (Blockbuster). But for the post-assessment,
no clues will be given.

For both pre- and post-assessment, review the guidelines on test construction.
For Aralin Bilang 2, you will now immediately start with this part. Hindi na po
lilitaw ang “first parts.”
