Today, 16-bit hardware and software has been replaced by 32-bit and 64-bit alternatives, which
give the computer more memory to work with, increasing overall performance.
When referring to a computer video card or graphics card, 16-bit color or high color refers to the
amount of colors capable of being displayed. For example, 16-bit is the same as 65,536 colors.

REWARDS AND RECOGNITION
1993 – Asian Leadership Award by Asian Business League of San Francisco
1997 – Pamana ng Filipino Award
1997 – Master Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Ernst & Young, Inc. Magazine,
and Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services
2011 – Kalampusan Award by Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA)
1993 to 1994 – Ellis Island Medal of Honor by National Ethnic Coalition of
Organizations, Inc. (NECO)
2002 to 2006 – The Forbes Midas List - The Forbes Midas list is the annual ranking
by Forbes magazine of the best dealmakers in high-tech and life science venture capital.[1] It uses
parameters including the first-day market capitalization of IPOs, and the opinions of a panel of
experts.[2]
The name is an allusion to the mythological King Midas, renowned for his ability to turn
anything he touched into gold. Forbes has partnered with venture capital fund-of-
funds TrueBridge Capital Partners[3] to create the list from 2011 to 2016
2009 – Doctor of Technology Recognition from Mindanao State University – Iligan
Institute of Technology
In a computer system, a chipset is a set of electronic components in an integrated circuit known as a "Data Flow
Management System" that manages the data flow between the processor, memory and peripherals. It is usually found
on the motherboard. Chipsets are usually designed to work with a specific family of microprocessors. Because it
controls communications between the processor and external devices, the chipset plays a crucial role in
determining system performance.
We took the company public only after 22 months,” Banatao said. The C&T sales
amounted to US$12 million in the first quarter alone. The company’s stock was the
fastest selling stock in US history at the time. Intel bought the company for $430 million
in 1996.
His third company, S3, introduced the first Windows accelerator chip. In 1993, S3 was
considered the third most profitable company in the world. The company had an IPO
worth over $30 million when it went public.
