Poetry Club
Poetry Club gives students a chance to write creatively and to
perform original poems and lyrics. We watch spoken word
performances and discuss and take time to write and reflect as a
form of personal expression and activism.

This club is for players of all skill levels. Anyone interested in learning
about or playing chess should reach out to me, Mr. Tansey, or Mr.
Christie and join us for a weekly club meeting. We play casual games
and competitive games as well as puzzles and strategies.

Art Club is a place for practicing artists to hone in on
their skills, develop their techniques, build their
portfolios, collaborate with other artists like

The EV Grand Prix team has two electric race cars that we race
McKinley EV annually. The goal of the race is to see how many laps the cars
can do in 1 hour. It is a program to learn about electric vehicles
(Electric Vehicle)
and how to manage the power generated.
The American Rocketry Challenge is the world’s largest rocket contest with
nearly 5,000 students nationwide competing each year. The contest gives
middle and high school students the opportunity to design, build and
launch model rockets and hands-on experience solving engineering
problems.
Cycling Club
Bicycle club, that completes distance and endurance
rides. Learns bike road safety and best practices. Has
