The 84th edition of the classic Walloon Arrow cyclist, was a race to be held on
April 22, 2020 in Belgium. However, due to the 2019-2020 coronavirus disease
pandemic, where the health emergency caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus has
forced the cancellation of different sporting events around the world, the race
was postponed.

After the reorganization of the calendar by the UCI, the new date for the dispute
of this test is September 30, 2020.

The Walloon Arrow, one of the world cycling classics that takes place in
Belgium, confirmed that it will have the presence of great names in world
cycling for next Wednesday, September 30, this cycling classic had a total route
of 202 kilometers with some changes in relation to the previous edition, as an
important novelty the starting line was the city of Herve located in the Walloon
Region of Belgium to finish at the traditional Huy Wall.

Likewise, it is estimated that the current Tour de France champion, Tadej


Pogacar, will lead the list of participating riders, who is getting ready to
premiere the yellow jersey in one of the most historic competitions in Europe.
It is also expected to have the presence of the Runner-up of the 'Grande Boucle,
Primoz Roglic, will also excel in that race.

Meanwhile, other of the great faces for this edition of the Belgian race will be
the third in the Tour Richie Porte and the French Julian Alaphilippe.

On the Colombian side, five will be in the Walloon Arrow: the list is headed by
Egan Bernal, who hopes to be much better physically. He is followed by
Rigoberto Urán, Miguel Ángel López, Daniel Felipe Martínez and Sergio
Higuita.

The "coffee" legion hopes to be able to stand out in this renowned classic of
great renown, although they know that it will be a tough confrontation, since it
will do so after participating in the World Cycling Championship in the elite
event this Sunday.
This type of participation in sporting events of our Colombian athletes,
especially cyclists, is really very exciting, mainly because in South America few
countries participate in cycling worldwide and our beetles do an excellent job
and represent the country, for those who we are fans and amateur practitioners
of this sport, it is a great pride and passion to see them compete.
