After reading and pondering on the article, these are the three most significant
learnings/insights I have learned.
a. One of the principles of learning states that learning is a continuous process which supports
the learning that I have gained from the article that everybody is a lifelong learner. For us
teachers, we are considered lifelong learners because we continue our post education and
we learn from our experiences either in seminars, trainings or in our daily encounters.
Lifelong learners always have the desire to learn new things and always keep the learning on
fire and accept changes and criticisms. Lifelong learners have the drive to explore and
search for new knowledge that could possible make him grow up and mature. The purpose
of lifelong learners are making learning alive so as to achieve satisfaction and success. In
general, incorporating lifelong learning in your life can offer many long-term benefits.
b. I believed that learners are active and creative explorer of the world. Learners are not just
passive recipient of knowledge but also active doer of the action. They are extra curious
about the things by asking questions because they want to know something. Learners are
also participative and proactive in hands on activities. They learn best through manipulative
activities. I have enlightened with these scientific findings which confirm that almost from
birth the learner is quite intelligent and manifests the capacity and desire to explore and
make sense of the world. This is a manifestation that every learner has the capacity to
understand the world they live in. Thus, learners are discoverer and explorer beyond our
expectations.
c. The learners are self-actualizing agents. Self-actualized learners accept themselves and
others as they are. They also embrace other people for who they are. Motivation plays a
vital role in achieving ones self-actualization. This motivation is either intrinsic or extrinsic
but both are beneficial for us to achieve our desire and to satisfy our needs be it primary or
secondary. In addition, self-actualized individuals are often motivated by a strong sense of
personal ethics and responsibility.

b. At this moment of my life, I audaciously consider myself as a lifelong learner. Taking
graduate studies is a manifestation that I am a lifelong learner. Learning is boundless and
endless to any individual. As a bearer of knowledge, we have to continue calibrating and
improving ourselves to better cater the educational needs of our learners.

Another manifestation that I am truly a lifelong learner is accepting this kind of learning
opportunity. I am grateful and blessed that another door of learning opportunity has
opened. I had attended many seminars, webinars, and trainings to gain more knowledge
and better improve my skills because what is need in the digital world is a 21 st century
lifelong learner. So have to keep on gaining new learning experiences, and keep motivated
to achieve personal growth and development.
