Benefits and Beneficiaries of the Research

The beneficiaries of the research about the impact of using Facebook in the

general average of selected Junior High School and Senior High School students of

Saint Michael College of Hindang, Leyte Inc. S.Y. 2017-2018 are:

*First the students, the researchers calculated the possible effects of using

Facebook while the class is on-going if it will be positive or negative. In a positive

way the students, may able to improve their knowledge about cultures and other

places, and also it will improve their speaking skills. Students can also share any

information’s regarding their homework, assignments, exams, etc. in that group. In a

negative way Facebook can be a distraction regarding to student’s education and

health.

*The second beneficiaries are the teachers. In a positive way the teachers can use

some methods that can help to the student having some additional learnings like

sharing educational videos and information regarding about their lesson but in a

negative way it can affect the teachers also in the relationship with their students

because nowadays some students can’t be controlled by the teachers and

sometimes get angry if they are scolded by their teachers.
