II. Proposal Proper

A.Rationale

In today’s generation where everything seems to be required, the youth as well as

the students prefer to keep up with the trend of having their own bikes or driving
their own vehicle to go to school to attend their classes. Vehicles might be one of the
best options to provide the difficulty of students to go to school, it still should be
disciplined and limited.

The parking lot requirements of school are almost as diverse as the needs of each
student. Parking lot management does not have a "one-size-fits-all" solution. Several
parking lots for various schools and facilities have limited resources, it's important to
thoroughly check and analyze surface conditions in order to prioritize the work plan.
Minor issues will be prioritized over obvious safety concerns, and they should be
handled accordingly.

For the sake of the plan work, safety comes in second, but when it comes to
prioritizing parking lot care, safety should be top of mind. Maintenance concerns
including faded road markings, old/missing signs, and hazardous cracks can raise the
risk of an unfortunate accident in school parking lots. It's critical to clearly define
(and limit when possible) vehicular and pedestrian conflict spots to reduce high-risk
behavior like personal vehicles using school zones, pedestrians walking or biking
through crowded parking lots, and autos coming up on the sidewalk from the
opposite direction.

A troublesome parking lot is a breeding ground for parent complaints as well as a

danger to students, teachers, and staff. A well-managed parking lot will lower the
school district's liability costs while keeping students, staff, and visitors safe.

As the number of enrollees rises up in Benigno Simeon Aquino National High

School, it’s expected that the number of vehicles will increase and the school space
becomes tight. By that, developing a parking space for student vehicles will be
required to limit the number of students who can bring vehicles in school as for the
benefit of both students and faculty members.

Inadequate parking area is currently one of the daily problems faced both by the
students and also the faculty of Benigno Simeon Aquino National High School
students owning private vehicles. With the annual increase of the students, the
demand for more parking spaces also increases but because of the limited area of the
school, this problem remains undressed.
To find a solution in this kind of situation, we students from 11 - Dolomite
proposed a project PARKING SPACES FOR STUDENTS VEHICLE IN SCHOOL,
a parking lot for students, staff, and visitors to have a safe and secure parking area.

The following are the requirements for this parking area. They must first register
with the school registrar. Second, if the person is riding a bicycle, he/she must show
his student ID to verify that he/she is a student of the school so that he can obtain a
sticker that will serve as a ticket/sign that you are registered, whereas if the person is
riding a motorcycle or a car, he must show his student or driver's license. Lastly, if
you are a staff member or a visitor, there is a logbook at the parking area where you
must write your full name in order to park.

Transportation Vehicle owners (automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, etc.) must be

registered. Students who acquire a car throughout the course of a semester must
register it promptly. When registering a car, proof of liability insurance and a valid
driver's license are necessary. Each resident student's car will be allotted a parking
place. Non-resident students must park in designated places. All motor vehicles must
be parked in the area given to them. Students are not permitted to park their vehicles
in the neighborhood surrounding campus. Students are not permitted to park at any
time in the spaces designated for supervisors, faculty, or staff.

The parking lot is divided into three sections. The area for bicycles, motorcycles,
and automobiles. The bicycle section is in front of Senior High Building 3, the
motorcycle section is in front of Senior High Building 2, and the car section is in
front of Senior High Building 1. “No Sticker, No Parking” That is the parking area’s
rule. You will not be able to park if you do not have a sticker for the school's safety
and secure parking space. The parking lot is expected to open as soon as the project
starts and is finished already.

Vision
To develop the discipline of students in parking their vehicles in school vicinity.

Mission
To have safe and secure parking space for students of Benigno S. Aquino National
High School and also they can learn to park properly and enhance the quality of life
by providing clean and safe parking facilities, based on the pillars of comfort,
reliability and hospitality.

Goals

This project focuses on students and community. It helps the community by

avoiding traffic violations in front of the school. It also supports the community to
make a wider road for people to drive in. It benefits the students to have their own
and safe parking space inside the school. This project is for student vehicles not to be
parked anywhere and so that they don't run out of time to find parking and for there
to be no more traffic. And its main purpose is to have safe and reliable parking
spaces for students' vehicles.

Objectives
1.)To reduce parking anywhere on the street or in front of the school and to
minimise
the blocking of the driveway.
2.)To seek to upgrade where practicable all Council car parks to "secured car park"
.
3.)To keep the implementation of controlled parking zones and application for
special parking area status.
4.)To reduce, where possible, competition for road space, between students and
other
Groups.
5.)To have organized and reliable parking spaces.

B. Projects Need and Costs

Needs

For this project to function,it will require a zone for parking space near the senior
high school buildings. These zones will serve as the parking spaces of the students
vehicle’s. The project will need the assistance of the Supreme Students Council to
monitor the parking spaces that are intended for student vehicle’s. Two persons will
be picked by any strand of senior high students per building and are expected to
survey and monitor who are the students that are violating the rules for parking
space. The Supreme Students Council treasurer and auditor will be asked to
participate in the program by auditing the money coming in and out of the penalties
that are collected, because of violating.

Costs

The project will require a starting fund worth Php 10,000 to materialize the
materials and equipment to be used for this project, it will also be used for buying
the materials that will be used in this project. The Supreme Student Council will
prepare the materials and organize the project that will be made, 90% of the budget
will be used for materials the remaining 10% will serve as pocket money for this
project. The starting fund will be generated from each and every member of the
project members and the Supreme Students Council.
In this assay, the following materials will be used.
