• The UDR-13 is a squad
level sensor that detects the
current radiation Dose Rate
and Total Dose absorbed
by the operator.
• The AN/UDR-14 will
replace the UDR-13.

The AN/VDR-2 Radiac Set is
used to locate and measure
radioactivity. The VDR-2 is a
Platoon Level device that detects

amount of radiation absorbed.
Dosage is measured in Gray (Gy)
or centigray (cGy).
Dose Rate is a measure of how
fast a radiation dose is being
received. It is measured in
centigray per hour (cGy/hr).
