1. Who are the customers of QuickMedx?


Divided their market into two categories
1. Primary market- females 18 years or older from all income categories who
valued convenience and the rapid resolution of common and relatively routine medical problems.

2. secondary market (1) adults of moderate- to upper-income levels who valued


convenience and rapid resolution of routine medical problems, (2) limited-income
consumers who were not covered by insurance and who were accustomed to accessing
medical care on a fee-and-pay-for-service basis, (3) self-employed professionals who may or
may not have employer benefits, and (4) the approximately 9 million families in the United
States with annual incomes over $50,000 that had no health insurance coverage.
Tests Offered included those for strep throat ,ear infection,female bladder infection( only for
those over the age of 12),influenza, mononuckesis,allegric rhinitis (sinus infection),poison
ivy,Conjunctivitis (pink eye) , pregnancy ( for women over the age of 18), and seasonal
allergies.

1.For a payment of $35 per visit QuickMedx provided rapid testing, diagnosis, and prescriptions to
anyone over the age of 18 months for eleven common illnesses like strep throat, influenza, ear
infection, pink eye, seasonal allergies, UTIs, mononucleosis, allergic rhinitis, poison ivy; pregnancy
tests(for women over the age of 18), vaccines for flu, tetanus, diphtheria, and hepatitis B and the
treatment of common warts.

 They assumed that Rapid processing time for check up would attract customer.
 Assumed that Customer Visiting the QuickMedX will also visit the other stores in the
mall.

 QuickMEDX assumes that they are the only unique firm having rapid test kiosks for
patients . there is possibility that Other clinic and health care can copy their idea.

Marketing

 They assumed that Direct mail and radio communication will help them to advertise .

 Also they assumed NP will not leave after they are employed in the QuickMEDX oulet in
rural areas .
