SUMMARY In this Chapter, traditional methods of training are describe which base on KSA’s Knowledge skills and abilities. Methods are lecture ties is to provide instruction or process information or for detail knowledge, Open discussion generate participant what they learned and use in small group discussion, Demonstration show how something works and the way to do the work through visual display, small group discussion is that place where idea are text out and collaborative learning of that idea, problem solving things. Games and simulation has equipments simulators which provide skills for operation and maintenance of equipment if the actual equipment does not working, business games is to improves management and decision making skills as well as provide strategic knowledge to solve complex problem it also motivate participant to learn, memory Games provide key learning points if participants seems to be acquiring the knowledge, in basket and case study develop decision making skills for new assignment, role play provide interpersonal skills, behavior modeling compare participant to that model and increase observational and critique skills when there is opportunity to practice, task related exercises for activity are for individually or in small group. On the job training is the systematic process for teaching a new employee for clerical and technical jobs. Job instruction has coaching which provide managerial and executive competencies when organization needs individual assistance, mentoring is to provide advice for new placed manager when manager need someone to discuss issues with. Training enhance by static media like charts, posters, image, dynamic AV methods.
