Name of the event: Oral Health Fair

Description

This Oral Health Fair will discuss preventions and important practices to maintain the healthy
teeth of the students. The school will be inviting the Fabular Dental Clinic to give free dental check up to
the students and the Colgate Company as sponsors for the freebies. Since February is the children’s
dental health awareness, this will be done on February 23, 2021 (Thursday), 7:30am – 5:00pm in San
Roque Elementary School. There will also be coloring activities, games, balloon art, prizes and Raffles
during the Talk and Show of Dr. Macapagal and Dr. Aquino.

During the Oral Health Fair, students will learn:

 When students should have their dental visit

 Ways to prevent students’ caries

 When to expect changes from primary to permanent teeth

 Proper brushing and flossing techniques

 Thumb sucking

 Dental sealants

 Choosing the right mouth protector for active children and adolescents

 Proper Hygiene

Objectives:

 To help every school child appreciate the importance of healthy mouth.

 To help every school child appreciate the relationship of dental health to general health and
appearance.
 To encourage every school child to observe dental health practices, including personal care,
professional care, proper diet, and oral habits.
 To correlate dental health activities with the total school health program.
