What I KNOW about Quantitative Research
From all the terms I have encountered
that are related to quantitative research, I
can define it as a systematic investigation
that entails gathering of data and
performing mathematical, statistical, and
computational techniques.
I also know that unlike Qualitative
Research that uses Interview as the
Method of the study, Quantitative research
gives light to conducting surveys as its
method by using survey questionnaires.
I know Quantitative Research analyzes
data through numerical comparisons and
statistical inferences unlike Qualitative
Research that analyzes data through the
participants’ description and perspective of
the phenomenon being studied.

What I want to KNOW about Quantitative
Research
I want to know how to formulate accurate
survey questionnaires that is correctly related
to the phenomenon or topic that we will be
studying.
I want to know what parts in the Quantitative
Research are to be added and included that
are not in Qualitative Research.
I want to know the correct Research Design
to be used in Quantitative Research that is of
course relevantly related to the topic we will
be studying.
What I want to LEARN about Quantitative
Research
I want to learn the correct process of
analyzing the gathered data from the
participants using statistical, mathematical
and computational techniques
I want to learn how to interpret the results
correctly from the data being gathered and
analyzed.
I also want to learn how to properly
conduct a survey, to whom it shall be done
and the scope that it shall only include.
