    My culture..

    Language.

    Language is apart of my culture because my family uses gullah


    and bajan to communicate. These two languages are two
    different creole dialects that people from south
    carolina(gullah) and barbados (bajan) speak.
    FOOD

    Food is apart of my culture because we cook


    it on special holidays, gatherings, etc. and
    sometimes even to express ourselves.
    Religion.

    Religion is apart of my culture because we pray to god for


    guidance, help and closure. My family sometimes pray or
    meditates to the buddha statues because they bring peace.
    Values.

    What my family values most is our buddha statues and


    antiques which could be necklaces, clothing, bracelets, good
    luck charms, etc. and which we also value etiquette.
    Artistic expression.
