    Color Code Pressure Rating Thorough inspection

    < 3000 psi Every 3 months

    3000 - 5000 psi Every 2 months

    5001 - 10,000 psi Once in a month

    10,001 - 15000 psi Once in 15 days

    > 15,000 psi Prior to installation

    Make sure that all fittings and connections used in testing are appropriate for the required test
    pressure.
