The graph shown on the first page is about the organizational chart of The
Coast, a hotel and beach resort located in Costa Leona, Nabas, Aklan. Its
purpose is to illustrate the reporting and authority relationships within the business.
Employees’ names and titles and/or job positions are generally depicted inside
the box with lines linking them to other employees and their departments. By
looking at the organizational chart, people can gain a quick understanding of how
the organization is designed, its number of levels, and where each employee fits
into an entity. It allows you to be aware on to whom particular person you should
report, or does each person report to one or more superiors. This organizational
chart is essential in the business because it visually conveys The Coast’s internal
structure by detailing the roles and responsibilities of an individuals within the
resort. In addition, it can also help improve information flow, collaboration and
responsiveness across teams and the wider business. Through this chart, the
employees and employers can improve or enhance their lines of communication.

Therefore, organizational chart has a huge importance in the business as it


highlights the chain of command or authority relationships among individuals
working at different levels within the entity. Using this chart can help us to
effectively manage tasks, develop growth strategies and improve efficient
interaction between our personnel.
