An organizational structure defines the scope of authorized activity within an

organization, its lines of power and accountability, and to some extent, the
organization's connection with its external environment. It explains duties for
organizational members, ensuring that each member understands what they are
expected to do and to whom they report. Organizational charts are used by businesses
to make their structure clear so that all employees can understand it. These charts aid
