You mean the 1 million acre fire burning just east of there since mid-August ending, or are you asking if
anyone can actually predict smoke levels right there 10 days in advance? The answer to both is no,
regardless. This current offshore wind event and heatwave was not even clear in the forecast until a few
days prior - before that there was no sign.
