The Problem People experiencing homelessness
feel as though they have little control of their own situation.

People experiencing episodic, transitional or invisible homelessness,

do not have easy access to the same quality of information and support
when seeking resources.

How might we empower people

experiencing housing instability
to take control of their own information
and connect themselves to the
resources that are most valuable to them?
is a web app
that will direct people seeking help
to programs, resources, and services
that are most valuable to that individual,
giving them more agency to improve their
circumstances earlier on in the process.
Jaden Olsen, 28
experiencing invisible homelessness
laid off his job at CAT
currently working odd jobs and temp jobs
still couldn’t afford rent
crashing at his older brothers couch
trying to find another stable line of work

Our solution makes it easier

for him to find resources he qualifies for
and keep track of his tasks and progress.

Unlike a caseworker
it can reach people earlier on
in their descent on the SDoH SSM
so it has the potential to assist
a much broader group of people.

Unlike 211
it is uniquely positioned to help people
track their own goals and give feedback
on the success of services, as well as
generate real time community needs
analysis and predictive models of need.
