You are on page 1of 1

Hey,

Here is what I wrote earlier today.

Tuesday reflections-

Brain teaser/ sharing/ reading -

We already talked about the morning. That was just tricky being in a team teaching environment. If it
was just one class it would of been different. You did the right thing to check in with me and then you
were going to write on the board so the children knew what the instructions were.

Math -

Good intro before think pair share to get them introduced then- Think pair share was good and using
the timer for just 2 minutes was a good amount of time to share before they got side track.

They then were able to share what they know which is good for the children who are on track. For the
children who didn’t know the video then reminded them about prior knowledge from the previous
year about symmetry.

Good use of technology using the flip chart and the video / game component in your lesson.

Good use of using things from around the classroom that are familiar to the children to tell the
difference.

Good use of using the children to come up and be involved- asking lots of questions to keep the
children engaged rather then giving them loads of information.

You are doing an incredible job at taking observations to document the children’s voice whilst
teaching- it is a skill lots of people can’t keep up with and you have been able to do it perfectly and
then take those observations to the blog to make the learning visible for the wider community. Well
done!

Excellent to check in with Annaliese and Lara again when they came in and to offer the onto the other
children.

Looking forward to science tomorrow 😊
