Hey,

I didn’t send through yesterday’s reflections so here they are;

Wednesday reflections:

Library-

Good job in library- getting them to put up their hand to guess rather than call out was a good move. Tricky with an
interactive book to keep quiet in the library but they were ok.

Amazing to prep them about noise level before they left off to borrow as this is a gentle reminder of the expectations
and the rules of the library.

Science-

Good to check in with last week’s experiment- checking in with the method and key words used.

Experiment was great. The kids loved it and it was a wonderful opportunity for them to see how butter can be made.
Hands on lesson and the smaller groups worked really well.

I loved being able to sit with some kids I don’t usually get to spend much time with which was nice.

Well done on another great lesson.

Thursday reflections:

Fitness –

As you saw today with the large group the logistics of getting organised for a game like that can be tricky. With the
team teaching environment a way around that is to say to Indi- if you stay in the room and give them their fruit I will
go set up fitness outside, that way the children are not waiting around. Good to have a whistle with the large group to
get their attention when you need it. All in all was a fun game and we will have another go at playing it again next
week.

Math –

Good to be open minded in the classroom like this afternoon how we decided to continue investigations and then just
give the instruction to show symmetry. They were still getting the math element but without the formal lesson.

Thanks for another great day. See you tomorrow 😊

In Kindness,
