Some people say that the main environmental problems of our

time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals.

Others say that there are more important environmental
problems. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion

There are many opinions that the risks for endangered plants or animals is
the major consequences of our worsening environment. While some people
argue that other problems are more pressing. Despite considering the
effect of these species’s extinction, in my opinion environmental issues pose
more threat to our lifes.

To begin with, global warming has resulted in the imbalance in ecosystem.

To illustrate, in recent decades , polar bears are on verge of extinction due to
the melting of ice caps reducing ice for them to hunt on. Moreover, they are
forcasted to disappear completely in 2100 and their disappearance will have
a domino effect on the fragile ecosystem of Artic and other endangered
animals like seals and narwhales.

On the other hand, the rise in catastrophic natural disasters has strongly been
linked to climate change.the rise temperature has increased the frequency
and potency of hurricanes, tsunamis or volcanoes.People in countries located
in earthquakes belts have suffered the loss of relatives, homes as well as
livelihoods. For instance, in 2004 , the total death tolls came up to 200000
after a ever deadliest tsunamy, it caused billion-of – dollars damage which
set this developing nation back economically for years.

In my point of views, these environmental problesm are of more concern due

to their direct impact on humans. Individuals as well as organizations should
make more moves to reduce the damage of both men and economy to
minium
