“Networked Applications”
A network of computers is a group of nodes/hosts connected with each
other. This facilitates sharing of resources, reliability, scalability and
reduction in the cost of network. Every network of computers must have
these qualities as specified above. One of the most important factors is
the performance of the internet. A computer network is a host/nodes
connected to each other as it allows reliability, resource sharing, cost
minimisation and scalability. These qualities of the internet are necessary
for a reliable computer network. Internet performance is the most crucial
factor among these. Network performance is benign explained through
which live streaming of a video will be watched by us by tracing the
packet tracer with the help of various websites. Flor control, protocol
control and more is also being controlled by us. These aspects are
substantial for all the network of communication that is admirable.
Parameters of performance of a network can be defined as “quality of
service” as facilitated by existing / current network systems. Following
parameters are included in “Network Performance Metrics” for calculation
of the performance of a network.

The term “Network Performance Metrics” can be summarized as

standard of current provider of network, existing system of network or
Services. To evaluate the network’s performance, there is a required to
use the Network Performance Metrics, these are as follows:
 1. Latency: delay in signal’s travelling time between receiver’s nodes
and sender known as latency. It can also be said that “the signal’s
process time between sender and receiver”
2. Noise: entry of any signal that is unknown or info at the time of
message transmission is known as Noise. Few reasons are there,
those signals are fault of equipment, environment’s conditions,
interference of signal, crosstalk… etc.
3. Throughput: The number of per unit packets of time, received by
node of receiving.
4. Jitter: it can be explained as the delay of packets of data from one
system to another one.
5. Bandwidth: from the medium's transmission, it shows the highest
rate of data transfer.
To send the data from sender to receiver, in data communication rules
must be followed by all the transmissions. These types of rules are known
as protocols. A protocol includes procedures and format responsible for
data communication admin. So many protocols are available such as
SMTP, FTP, ICMP, RARP, TCP, IGMP, UDP, ARP, IP and more. This
document is made on TCP and HTTP protocols. All of these parameters
must be substantial.
Performance analysis to watch each website:-

Equalizing process in which the amount of load of work/job between

two or more networks that is connected with each other is known as
laid balancing or load distribution of network. With the help of a
method of clustering of networks, the process can be done. Graph of
lead distribution can visualise the load distribution. Many fields are
included in these graphs such as - percentage, count,
minimum/maximum value, aggregate (ms), rate of burst. There is a
unique specified work load of network distribution.

In a network of computers, The number of packets per unit time has

been received by the destination node. Units of throughputs are -
KBPS, MBPS, GBPS. there are two axis in wireshark as units are
shown by the interval of time and units are shown by the y axis (Fore
example- packet, bit, byte)

Events and activities are indicated by the graph of sequence of time.

Over the time this is the modest TCP sequence chart. Common to the
utility TCP metrics are shown, consisting of forward segments, reverse
size of window, zero windows and acknowledgement which is selective.
 The data packet sending speed from the computer of sender to the
computer of receiver, it is known as the term FLOW. A dropped
connection, route, packets loss between the node of sender and
receiver shown by the graphs.

Graph scaling is a number of packets sent at a time through a window,

this shows packets bytes and window size.

 Parameters of network performance for the streaming of live audio is
explained in this document. Under this analysis, various performance
parameters like flow control, distribution of load in protocol of
network, sender and receiver system throughput and measurement of
packet time sequence. A computer network is a host/nodes
