Business Plan
The RecipeBuddy App will help users who struggle with limited time, money, and recipes to
cook quick and healthy meals while maintaining budget by saving cost of unnecessary
purchases and help save time figuring out what meals to cook and how to do so. This app is
set to help users stay in control of their time while making efforts to eat healthy fresh meals.
The scope of the project includes all screens on the RecipeBuddy mobile application,
Register/Login functionality, Search/Filter functionality, Setting functionality for personal
cooking preference, Database for the recipe, and Proper APIs for the recipes. These are the
main objectives of the RecipeBuddy App.
General Objectives:
1. Helps users with limited time, money, and recipe ideas to cook healthy meals at
home more efficiently with a step-by-step guide.
2. Allows users in control of what they eat while saving the time and energy of
figuring out what and how to cook recipes, allowing users to follow a simple app
to carry out this routine.
Specific Objectives:
1. Mobile application(App)
a. Which includes login functionality so that each user experience
customized suggestion for their recipe recommendation
b. Which provides fast speed so that users can use the app conveniently in
the kitchen
2. Database
a. Which includes more than 10000+ recipes so that the product can
recommend the most proper recipe
The constraints included in the application will be as follows; for security the communications
made between the users can pose various security threats like malware and ransomware.
Being able to store all the data on the end-user side is also a constraint as users that wish to
use RecipeBuddy will need to be able to download the application along with the
downloadable material. Imperfections of UX design can also potentially exist if not properly
tested on all platforms and finally lack of resources to complete this project as it requires
extensive hours to be put in with the right teammates.
