LEARNING OBJECTIVES
General Objective: The learners are expected to use descriptive adjectives in sentences correctly.
Specific Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:
1. Identify descriptive adjectives as a common or proper.
2. Use descriptive adjectives in sentences.
3. Giving importance to family bonding.

Ask the students to do the following:
Read the paragraph on page 138-139.
Ask the following questions:
What can you say about the narration?
Are there certain words from the paragraph that helped you get a vivid picture of
the celebration?
What do we call those words?

Introduce adjective and its meaning.
Discuss Common Descriptive Adjective
Discuss Proper Descriptive Adjective
Let the students differentiate the two forms of adjectives.
Let them give examples and identify whether it is proper or common descriptive adjective
Answer the following activities:
Answer drills on pages 140-142
D. Application
Write a four-line stanza for a person dear to you. Write his/her name on the first line, two
adjectives to describe him/her on the second line, two more adjectives on the third line, and a
short message for the person on the fourth line. Write your poem on a bond paper. Use
colored pens if you like.

List down everything you remember about pronouns and anything about the intensive and
reflexive pronouns. Look for a classmate who has the same idea or ideas that you have.
Regroup by looking for another classmate who has a different list of thoughts. Individuals will
now team up with their lists. Do a round robin activity and share different ideas about the
pronouns.

classmates. Take turns and allow everyone talk about the value of time.
