What are your strengths

influenced you significantly.

I am the person with Confidence, Commitment, and Diligence to learn.

I am the person who is very strong and determinant to achieve the targets and the results
that I had achieved Academically (Gold Medalist) are the index of the performance and the
effort and the commitment I give to the kind of work and activity I look for.

I am the person who is hardworking in nature – “I believe that the harder you work the
luckier you are”.

Even in my Professional Life I made a mark by getting a “PAT ON THE BACK“Award from
the Intergraph (An MNC, Product Based Software Company) where I had worked.

I am the person who is not jovial and sees everything in a serious way which is not
advisable always. It may be correct literally but not so as per situation.

The Situation in my life could be considered as myself unable to crack NITIE last year and at
that point of situation I had determined to crack NITIE and I worked accordingly recovering
my mistakes/failure and learning from the failure and at the end of getting into NITIE, I learnt
that “Failures are the Stepping stones for Success “is 100% Correct.

2. What is your single largest achievement so far? Why do you consider it to be your largest
achievement?

I believe that getting admission into NITIE, one of the 15 institutes of excellence in India.
I failed to crack the admission in NITIE last year and I worked on my pros and cons and my
perseverance and commitment helped me to get into NITIE.

Everyone would try for the getting the best in his life in any aspect and I feel by putting best
efforts one can fine-tune and bring the best out of his effort before he deserves to achieve
the best. So NITIE, one of the best Institute in India will always be a privilege all long my life.
It is NITIE that is going to shape my career for remaining part of my life.

3. Have you ever adopted a non-traditional approach to manage a project / situation or to solve
a problem? Briefly describe the project / situation of the problem, the approach and the
outcome.

At Intergraph (MNC, Product based Software Company) where I worked there was a
situation at one point of time at which there were 2 Techniques for developing the
Acceptance Test Suit of scripts –

1. Descriptive Technique which is laborious and cumbersome.

2. Object Repository (OR) Technique—a good feature provided by the testing tool QTP
(Quick Test Professional).
My Manager was reluctant to work with the OR technique thinking that Descriptive is the
best method.
Actions: I used a data based approach for decision making, listed the pros and cons of both
the methods, made a presentation and managed to convince my Manager and
 even the Manager (Client) in US which was much difficult. After Design Approval
the coding is done and went for the successful development of the Acceptance
Test scripts.
Results: I received the “Pat on the Back” award from Intergraph for the work done on the
Development and Execution of Scripts with QTP.

4. What are your personal goals in life? How would getting into Marico help you in your journey
towards your Personal Goals?

My Personal goal for the long-term is to become an ‘Entrepreneur’ but at this point of time I
don’t have any road map to how to get and reach the target. I had started with this thought
by getting into B-School as a first step that helps in creating me the path I need.

My short-term goal is to get equipped/acquire with the necessary skill set and pertaining to
this I need to get placed into a best branded company like yours from NITIE to get a
broader picture of an industry.

By joining Marico I would get to know what actually an Organization is and how an
Organization runs and I feel that the Big Brands like Marico would help in giving a scope at a
wider range and help in giving me the feel of business perspective along with understanding
the process of Business helping me to route for my long-term goal.

My personal goal in life is to reach to a position of heading a division in a module of an

organization which helps me to put my best efforts in achieving the targets for an Organization to
perceive and feel the business along with the understanding the business.
I feel that best branded companies like Marico would help me in giving a scope at a wider range
and larger career perspective which I am aiming at.
