Swing User Manual

Swing bot as its name suggests is a bot that executes buy or sell orders with the intention of
following the market trend and being able to stay in the market with a winning trade until the
desired profit target is reached. Swing bot cares more about quality than quantity of executed
trades that's why it can stay out of the market if its algorithm and indicators don't give a clear
entry in trend.

Description:
- The Swing bot has two very distinct ways of trading in the forex market, both are good
strategies and use the same indicators, we will detail them below:

- Entry:

Option 1, scalpmode off:

In this case the bot enters in favor of the trend, but it will not close the trade until it reaches
the programmed objective gain, this is a more ambitious setting for users who prefer more
gains regardless of the fact that the trade may be open for days.

Option 2, scalpmode activated:

In this case the bot enters the trend looking to close at the target profit, after some hours if
the market closes without reaching the target giving less profit, but staying less time inside the
market

- Risk Control:

This EA has a volatility filter which means that specific market events where volatility is
high can be easily avoided.

Being a long term trading bot the user can easily intervene which allows total control over the
risk taken.

Some pairs have extremely high swap payments, being a trend bot it can be configured to
enter only long or only short in some pairs depending on the swap charge of each pair. It can
even be used to trade only on pairs where a market direction gives us a positive swap, we
suggest studying the broker where you are going to work to determine which pairs interest the
client and which pairs do not.

- Profit factor:

Profit is considered to be the most important indicator of whether the quality of an operation
is good. It is calculated as follows: you add up all your winning trades and divide by all your
losing trades:Profit Factor = (suma de ganancias) / (suma de perdidas)

- Before starting with the strategy you can choose which set to use with 10 year
backtest where you can adjust the strategy to your liking. Some of the back tests
performed are presented below.
- Pairs and timeframes:

This EA operates basically any pair, although exotic pairs are not recommended. Most pairs
come with specific configurations, for example, the GBPUSD is usually more volatile than
the EURUSD and must have different configurations.

The preferred time frame is M15, although this EA also works in M5, M30 and H1 time frames.
For traders who want quality over quantity and aspire to large trades the H1 timeframe is the
time frame of choice. In H1 it is likely that the EA will not open operations for a long time.

-
- Backtest:
o Set EURUSD:
o Set GBPJPY:

The sets we have shown are different pre-configurations for the same bot, any of the
parameters can be manipulated by the user, but except for very advanced knowledge it is not
recommended. The sets have been prepared so that the bot works automatically after a
previous configuration and the client does not have to worry about anything.

Configuration tutorial :
Step 1: Open MT4 within your VPS server

Step 2: Once inside your MT4 within the VPS server you must open your account, for this you
must go to File->Open an Account and put the data provided by the broker by mail.

Step 3: Once in your account, open the EUR/USD pair and place it in the timeframe of the set
you will use
To open the pair, go to view and activate (if not active) the market watch

- Once the market watch is active, look for the pair and slide it to the grey part, its graph will
appear, apply the timeframe of the set

Step 4: Download the .ea file plus the sets that you have received by mail and transfer them to
the VPS, once you have the bot and its set inside the VPS, you must send them to the specific
folder.

- Place the .ea file in the MT4 experts folder, then it's detailed step by step.
1- Click on file and then on Open data folder

1- Go to the MQL4 folder and deposit the .ea file in the Experts folder and the set in the

Presets folder

Step 5: Once you have deposited both files go back to MT4 and in Navigator on the experts
folder right click and refresh, if you do not have visible Navigator go to View and activate it.

Step 6: Drag the file to the graphic and when you drop it you will see a window with 3 options,
About - Common - Inputs, in common you must activate a series of options and leave it as in
the image

Step 7: You need to load the set you have chosen to operate, go to Inputs and click on the Load
button, this will redirect you to the presets folder where we have previously left the set, click
on the set and hit open.
Step 8: At this moment, an emoticon with a sad face appears in your graphic, that means that
the bot is already configured, you just need to activate it, to activate it you must click on the
autotrading button.

The bot has already been activated and will start operating when its parameters indicate so.

Frequent ask Questions:

Why should I use a VPS server?

It is necessary to use a VPS because the bot needs to be connected 24h a day and the best way
to have a PC connected that many hours is a dedicated server. If you are thinking of keeping
your own PC connected 24 hours a day, remember that you may have Internet or even power
cuts that would cause your bot to stop working and consequently generate losses.

Why do we operate with MT4 and how does it work?

The programming of the bot is in MQ4 and Metaquotes language, so the MT4 company must
operate in MT4.

If I want to stop the bot, how should I do it?

To stop a bot is as simple as stopping the autotrading (see step 8), if you want to close the
whole trade you should also close all the trades you have open or to be put (limit or stop),
there is a video tutorial explaining this in more detail. https://youtu.be/DxlOv1CnXHc

How do I see the profits I keep in my account?

To see the earnings in your account you must go to Balance in the trade section of MT4, there
your earnings are accumulated.
What is the DD or drawdown?

The DD or drawdown is the data that indicates the float of the account, the float is the
negative or positive total that your account has on the current trades, ie if my bot has 5 open
trades and you are indicating a -10 ?, it means that if I stop the operation at that time I must
assume those 10 ? of losses. An account's float can also be positive.

Can I start and stop the bot every day?

Pipster Plus is programmed for long term trading, it is a bot that has the need to trade for
several days or weeks, therefore it is not recommended to stop it every day.

Can I change the parameters of the bot?

Of course, but it requires a great deal of knowledge, Arbistar 2.0 provides you with several sets
of different risk-benefits for you to choose from

What is a SET?

A SET is a pre-configuration of the bot. It is a set of parameters that have been programmed in
a certain way and will make the bot act in the way indicated by the SET.
