Hospytek is a bootstrapped successful startup in the medical devices industry. It was founded six
years ago when the founder decided to follow his father’s footsteps of being an entrepreneur. The
firm has met consistent success ever since.

What might seem as humble beginnings, when the founder provided medical devices and equipment
to State run hospitals in Himachal Pradesh, Hospytek has surged past the competitors witnessing a
massive Sales revenue year on year. With a minimum topline of Rs 1 Cr each year, and a maximum
of Rs 6 Cr this year, Hospytek has been a pioneer in identifying the customer needs and provide
elegant solutions to sourcing the devices and supplying to the clients through our ecommerce
division. What’s brilliant about us? Not a single INR has been spent on digital marketing yet.

We have partnered with firms across Dubai and China and scaling up rapidly.

With a mission to be an aggregator of B2B sales across channels in sectors such as Health care and
Retail, we are looking for the next set of visionaries and to learn and work for Hospytek through live
projects.

Finance: Duration: 1 month; pay: INR 10000

“Debt- Financing and Investment Analysis”

- Create a financial model from the existing financial statements. The model is supposed to be
robust with scenario planning and financial health metrics- for the retail and healthcare
business verticals.
- Competitor analysis of valuation frameworks within the healthcare sector.
- Identify the better option- debt financing or paid up capital?
Strategy Project: Duration: 1 month; pay: INR 10000

“Sourcing and delivery optimization- Effective ecommerce from the ground up”

- Evaluate the existing strategy of sourcing and delivery from all the partners till now
- Define the scope for optimization in sourcing and delivery from the historical sales with
respect to lead times, order values and time for delivery.
- Conceptualize a proactive way for utilizing existing partnerships and forging new ones.

Marketing Project: Duration: 1 month; pay: INR 10000

“Best Mix of Digital budget”

- Develop a framework for analyzing the ecommerce channel customers, identify the
bottlenecks
- Conceptualize a roadmap for effective spending on digital needs.
- Competitor benchmarking, resource planning for the digital future.

Interested Second year students of a premiere B school can apply.

Eligibility: At least 1 year work experience. Others will also be considered.

If the work is satisfactory, project can be extended on an individual basis.
