A fieldbus is a computer system which is connected by a network.

There are 4 levels in a fieldbus

network. The lowest being the Sensor bus network while the highest is the information level
network
In the Sensor bus network, we have the same input for field devices and the output can signals from
the controller can be sent to various number of output devices such as actuators, alarms, indicators
etc.
The next level is the device bus network. This is similar to the sensor bus network but much larger
in scale (more input and output devices)
Then we have the Controller bus network. At this level, PLCs are connected together and data can
be passed to control vrious equipment in the factory. Therefore the answer is Controller bus
network.
