DIVISION-INITIATED DEVELOPMENT OF SUPPLEMENTARY LEARNING

MATERIALS/ MODULES IN JHS-STE AND SHS-STEM RESEARCH SUBJECTS

1. DepEd-ROV is currently spearheading the development of supplementary

learning materials/ modules in different learning areas per Regional Memorandum
No.36, s. 2020 Re: Regional Learning Continuity Tasks and Guidelines. However, the
research subjects for STE and STEM were not included in the development of
modules. Hence, this Office through the Curriculum Implementation Division shall take
initiatives in developing supplementary materials/ modules in JHS-STE (Research 1-4)
and in SHS-STEM Research subjects (Practical Research 1, Practical Research 2 and
Inquiries, Investigations and Immersion) to ensure uniform implementation of the
Program in the schools and in order to ensure that the teachers who will be handling
STE/STEM research subjects have available quality-assured learning materials for
utilization in their respective classes.

2. The following are found in the enclosures:

a. Enclosure 1- Timeline on the development of modules
b. Enclosure 2- Lists of development team per subject area
c. Enclosure 3- Template for the inventory of learning resources available

3. The members of the development team who rendered services during the
conduct of this activity shall be granted with service credits in accordance with Deped
