KOLEHIYO

One of the most interesting stages in life that gives you an opportunity to explore is the
‘college phase’ or ‘kolehiyo life.’ Life at college is the time when the teenage years end and we
all dive deep into the ocean of new beginnings and possibilities. This golden period better equips
you for all the challenges you’ll face in life and creates a strong foundation of knowledge.
Last 2 years ago, I had no clue what would be the feeling of entering college. Because they
always say that ‘College life’ is that phase in one’s life when one learns the most important
lessons of life.’ And honestly, I became more interested on what would my college life will be. I
remember before I used to say that I want a simple life here in our province. Take college in a
simple university and get a job after. But I didn’t expect that after how months of interacting
with other people, watching videos that is about information of different schools in manila, it
made me think a lot.
Now that I’m already a grade 12 student, the only thing that is on my mind is my future.
Then one day, I had a chance to know different schools in manila where I can pursue the course
I want to take. I’m glad that I have plans and anytime soon, I’m going to start my way to my
future. I’m happy that I’ve got some experience from high school which I can take to my college
life soon. How to build friendships, prioritizing your goals and giving time to the people that is
always behind my back.
Some may think that ‘kolehiyo’ is where you can face the hardest things in your life. But
reality, kolehiyo is yes it is hard because it teaches us on how to be more independent and strong
in life. We will going to have our ups and downs, but in the end kolehiyo will show us that life
we are facing, in order for us to get along these trials in life we’ll learn to work hard and stand
on our feet. That even in the hardest point, instead of being weak, we’ll be more strong enough
to face life not just in college but also our life after college.
So, remember that there will be moments that carry a lot of sentimental value and you
can’t help but miss those years later. The friendships you make in college life is the most
important aspect. These people will give you strength and be your knights in shining armor all
your life. College life is a beautiful blend of joys and memories. On the whole, every day spent
in college is loaded with some colorful events such as freedom, special breaks, matches and
functions. No doubt college life is an ideal part of academic life. Its charms can never fade away.
