DESCRIPTION ABOUT STANISLAUS CHRISTIAN AREL

I have a friend. His name is Stanislaus Christian Arel. I usually call him Arel. He is
twenty years old. He was born in Semarang, on August 14th 2000. He lives on Taman Puri
Sartika Street B/57, Semarang, Jawa Tengah, Indonesisa. He is the oldest children in his family.
His father’s name is FX. Dwi. I am sorry to say it, but his father has died since he was in junior
high school. His mother’s name is Veronika Ratri. He has one little brother named Jonathan
Radit. Jonathan was 17 years old or in 3rd grade in 8 Vocational High School in Semarang.
Arel is quite good-looking. He's tall and has average weight, with brown skin and
straight dark hair. I can say that he has round brown eyes and small lips. Like many Java people,
he has a great sense of style, so he always looks well-dressed even in casual clothes. Maybe the
girls out there will like him from the first time they saw him. But unfortunately, he already has a
girlfriend in his hometown, Semarang.
Arel is very outgoing. He is always friendly and loves to have fun. He's got a fantastic
sense of humour and he always makes me laugh. However, he will be a bit immature at times.
For example, when he doesn't get what he wants, he acts childishly. Arel is one of my friends who
show a varied personality including ambition and the qualities of generosity and thoughtfulness.
Work harder person and well-determined boy and vigorous individual. She was a Smart and religious
person, which believes that nothing great comes easy and with God everything is possible.
Arel is very good at playing a piano. Together with his friends, he plays music and
creates songs. I believe he will be a successful musicians in the future. He also expert on writing
a blog. He likes make a blog about anything he want to share. On his weekend he usually watch
a movie. He loves watch movie so much. For example Indonesian, Korean, Japan movies with
horor, action, or romance genre.
 Not like other boys that like play football, he prefer to gardening like plan onions,
ginger, and tomatoes. Besides that, he also likes culinary tours with me and traveling to the
exotic places in our hometown, Semarang. We usually eat Lunpia, Tahu Gimbal, Wingko Babat,
Bandeng Presto, Ganjel Rel and others famous food from Semarang. But I know his favourite
food is seafood and peanut cake. He usually made his own cake and cookies like pie susu,
brownie, garlic bread, sandwich, sweet bread, banana pie and many more. I think his cooking
talent is descendant from his mother that loves cook too.
Arel has been my friend for five years. We are graduated from 7 Vovational High
School (STM Pembangunan Semarang). He is my classmates for four years because our school
applies a four years learning system. We majored in Mechatronics Engineering. We are always
studied together in there. We like to do various new experiences such as make a robotic program,
improve our skills in computer basic skills, look for the latest news about robotic and aviation
industries, and many others. I first met him on my classroom. I asked him the way to the canteen
and we started talking even he little cold to me. We've been friends ever since.
In our semester break, our class even went to Bali together and we made a lot of
memories. We visited Tanah Lot, Bedugul, Kuta Beach, Pandawa Beach, watch Barong Dance
performance, and buy some popular foods from Bali, like Pie Susu and Ayam Betutu. It was a
memorable experience I ever had and I can’t wait to go back for a second time.
When we graduated from Vocational high school, we did not expect that we will enroll
in the same career path. We are following the selection of schoolarship DIII Pariwisata
Konsentrasi Kebandaarudaraan at Mataram University. He says that his motivation to apply for
this scholarship is because he wants to make his parents proud of him, prove to people that he
can succeed on his own effort, and because he is the backbone of his family after his father has
died when he was in junior high school.
We went through many selection stages to enter this scholarship. Starting from
administrative selection, medical tests, psychological tests, academic tests until we were able to
survive until the last test, namely the interview test. I never imagined that I would spend the next
3 years with him again. Maybe all of you could say that I will bored because study with him for
7 years, but I think it's our destiny and we must grateful for it.
 Finally Arel and I decided to take this scholarship and go together to this beautiful
island, Lombok. Me and Arel went to lombok by plane. It was my first experience travel by
plane, and apparently with arel. Until now we are still become good friends. And because we
come from the same hometown, we often share stories and motivate each other to become better
people while in this scholarship program. Through this program, he has a dream to become an
employee in a state-owned company and be useful for our country and everyone. All in all, I am
glad to have Arel as my friend. It is a pleasure to be friend with him. I am sure we will always be
friends.
