GREETING

Welcome to our online prayer service, focused on God’s Love. We thank you for being here and
hope that the time you take to participate in this online prayer service will be fruitful for you! To
begin, find a comfortable place in your home. Calm yourself, and remember that whenever we
gather in God’s name, the Lord is with us and we are not alone.

OPENING PRAYER

Oh Holy Lord, you are worthy of all of our praises. You reign in majesty above us and are our
Lord forever. We thank you for allowing us to be graced by your presence today, hallowed be
your name. Accept our love and adoration in Jesus’ name. We are here to pray, almighty God
that you will always light our way with your presence. Heavenly Father, we lower our heads
before you and we confess that we have too often forgotten that we are yours. Sometimes we
carry on our lives as if there was no God and we fall short of being a credible witness to You.
For these things we ask your forgiveness and we also ask for your strength. Give us clear minds
and open hearts so we may witness to You in our world. Remind us to be who You would have
us to be regardless of what we are doing or who we are with. Hold us to You and build our
relationship with You and with those You have given us on earth.

We have gathered together to raise our voices in praise to you. We thank you for the wonders
that you have worked in our lives. Accept our prayers of thanksgiving in Jesus’ name. You are
the only true, living God. Manifest yourself within our midst today. We know that without you,
we can do nothing. Empower us to do great things today and every day in Jesus’ name. We’re
wrestling, struggling, with the weight of these needs. We feel powerless at times to even know a
way out of this situation. But we believe that you are greater than any difficulty we’re facing,
and we lay it all down at your feet – again. Help us to trust you more, help us in our unbelief. We
choose to recognize and to believe that you are fully able to accomplish far more, to do far
greater, than we even thought possible. We thank you in advance for your miracles, for paving
out pathways, for your provision for those who love you. As we finish our opening prayers for
prayer service, may we feel your power. May each person present be inspired to love and serve
you for every moment until we are gathered together again. Amen.

B. THE WORD OF GOD

In the middle of this pandemic, let us not forget that God is with us all during these hard times.
His love is the most powerful among any others and will protect us from any harm so long as we
believe and strengthen our Faith towards Him. Let us be grateful of His everlasting Love because
now, we are safe and are still capable of doing things that we usually do. Despite of the fear from
this virus, we are healthy and alive.

A reading from the book of Romans 8:31-39

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be[a] against us? 32 He who
did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously
give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34
Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is
at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.[b] 35 Who shall separate us from the
love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger,
or sword? 36 As it is written,

“For your sake we are being killed all the day long;

we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am
convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the
future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able
to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

C. SHARED PRAYER

Almighty God, we know that everything is in your sovereign control. We ask for your guidance
to help us stay healthy in this time of pandemic. May you give our government officials the
ability to safely handle people, especially those coming home from different countries. Help
people to decide to just stay home instead of going out. Lord please take away the fear, anxiety
and feelings of isolation from people who is receiving treatment or under quarantine. Give them
a sense of purpose in pursuing health and protecting others from exposure to the disease. May
you Lord God protect their families and friends and bring peace to all who love them. We pray
all of this to you Lord our God. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

D. CLOSING PRAYER AND BLESSINGS

Father God, we have come to the end of prayer service, and we want to thank you for enabling us
to be here from the beginning to the end. Thank you for touching our lives in ways we cannot
explain. You have taken us to your realms of glory, and we want to say thank you. Amidst this
pandemic may You continue to keep us safe and keep us and our family away from sickness
Lord God.

May our lives be sustained through the love of our Heavenly Father.

May we feel the presence of our Saviour walking beside us, and know the power of the Spirit in
both our actions and our words.

May the love of Jesus Christ bring us wholeness.

The grace of God the Father grant us peace,

The breath of Holy Spirit instill passion and

The unity between them give us strength

For this and every day.

In Jesus’ name, we believe and pray, Amen.
