Community Support Program – BUKC

Community Support Program (C.S.P) is an official, compulsory 40 hour, non-credit course opted
by the students of Bahria University, Karachi Campus to render their services and support to
different social sectors in Pakistan. The aim of this program is to strengthen local communities,
increase participation of our students in the community thereby instilling them with a sense of
responsibility and care for humanity. CSP team aims to organize several workshops, seminars
and aid programs where the haves voluntarily come forward to help the have-nots.
In my opinion this is the best platform to meet and serve those people who need us most. CSP's
only motive is to keep yourself down to earth. By meeting the people, children we analyze that
Alhamdulillah we are truly blessed to have all the naimats while many have only desires of it.

Activity

In this activity the aim was to help those people who can’t properly afford basic foods. The basic
ration includes rice, flour, 2 types of pulses, sugar, salt, turmeric, red pepper, and 2 packs of
ghee. I distributed to 4 families equally, some garam spices and dry food items as well according
to my affordability.

Experience

The goal was to gain deed by disturbing ration to needy ones. I felt very satisfied with myself
while performing this activity because when you help others and put single smile to someone’s
face is priceless. It makes me realize how we, as in, community member can help by simply
giving, whether if it food, water, clothes or ration.
