Learning Objectives
1. Students will be able to understand the differences between synchronous and asynchronous e-
learning in terms of the format of delivery clearly.
2. Students will be able to list at least one advantage and one disadvantage each for synchronous
and asynchronous e-learning including the examples of communication tools.
3. Given the opportunity to work in a group, students will be able to use either the synchronous or
asynchronous communication tools for discussion to accomplish the learning activities
independently.
