LESSON'S LEARNT DURING THE COVID-19 MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER

2020 has started as a new and great year to spend with vary activities that we can
do.Families, friends and colleagues are enjoying their time together with joy and happiness. But
unfortunately, the joy we felt turned into a worrying feeling. Started from Australia's bushfire that
shocking the world with the news that an estimated 1 billion animals have been killed to the corona
virus outbreak. With the first outbreak was identified in China, the corona virus rapidly started to
spread around the world. From only a cluster that were reported to WHO (World Health
Organisation) and now at least 213 countries around the world were affected with 12 million
numbers of confirmed cases.

Many countries are currently in lockdown or in MCO (Movement Control Order) to

help prevent the spread of corona virus. Face mask and hand sanitizer is a must when you are going
out and 1 metre social distancing is implemented. This pandemic give us a lot of lesson to be learnt
as there are many things we have to change and improve after seeing the effect that happened
during this period.

For instance, always keep our hands and body clean. This can be seen from the way
corona virus are spreaded. A lot of bacteria are carried up by our hands due to touching things that
have many germs on it. By reason of that, washing our hands at least 20 seconds with soap and
water are enough to prevents many diseases like diarrhoea and cholera.

Secondly, be thankful and more grateful for what we have. People who do not have
enough money or a homeless person are going through harder than we are in this pandemic. They
are more likely to be infected. Handout some money or food to these people so they can stay safe
and healthy. Another lesson is that appreciate our time with family or loved one. Spending most of
the time at home gives us more time and opportunity to be together with each other talking and
laughing. By doing this, our bonding will be stronger and much more comfortable.

Furthermore, our mental health also matter. Sudden impact on our daily lives might
give us a different mental reaction and for some reason, a person can get an anxiety or mental
illness if they are not doing something. We can find new hobbies such as cooking, gardening or
even doing some arts like painting in order to keep our mind relax yet active at home.
In summary, this pandemic Covid-19 is a proof that we need to make sure not only our
environment and body need to be healthy but our mental health as well. Our cooperation with each
other in keeping our mother nature, society and individual's mental health safe are going to make a
huge impact in up coming years and generations as well. Let's be happy and stay safe where ever
we are.
