1.For me, the first stanza describes the situation of the Philippines before the Spanish colonization. It
focuses on the richness and of our country and how beautiful it is before. It is also stated how Filipinos
love and take good care of the Philippines.

2. Because of the Philippine’s natural beauty it was invaded by foreign country.

3.At the chorus part, I can sense that the patriot is determined to make our country free from all the
colonizers.

Task 3

As a grade 11 Filipino learner, I can show a sense of adaptability to the diverse Philippines literary
history by studying not just the contribution of the colonizers but also our own literature. piece or works
of different authors and by watching it through movie or YouTube. I will also share my readings or
watched movies to my friends, classmates and family. It is also important to support modern literatures
because this is a part of showing the innovation of our country. Lastly, accepting our literature history is
a big step already because accepting it also means accepting what the colonizers have done to our
ancestors. The importance of Philippine Literature is it allows people to learn about where they came
from and how past events work to shape the different cultures.
