according to the tourist guide of Bogota it is open from 7:00 a.m. at 2:00 p.m.

Yes, it safe to carry cash in some parts and depends on the time that you transit. In
some cases when you transit in the north of Bogota, you will safe but if you transit

people.

$40.000 pesos that can be equivalent to 10.67 USD.

On the other hand, if you rent a luxury car, you would pay more or less $100.000
pesos per day. In conclusion, the rent a car in Bogota is not expensive, but I
recommended you not rent a luxury car because Bogota has nobility issues and
could not mobilize with patient.

4. Is it easy to find cheap restaurants?


Yes, it is easy to find cheap restaurants due to the fact that Bogota in the center,
south, north has a cheap restaurants if you have a budget to $20.000 per plate you
could visit “el corral”, “sopas y postres de la abuela”,”leños” , among others and
you are going to satisfied.
5. Is it hard to get around?
Yes, it is hard to get around because Bogota has a public transport that it is in bad
conditions. In addition, if you drive a car in Bogota, you have to be patient because
you will find traffic jam.

I recommended that is better to leave two or three hours in advance if you want to
arrive on time.

6. Is it necessary to make hotel reservations?


No, it is not necessary to make hotel reservations because Bogota has wide variety
of hotels and you can find whatever kind of this in the center, north or south. Also,
if you are interested in knowing museums, Monserrate, Bolivar plaza, you could
find a cheap hotel in the Candelaria neighborhood and you don’t have to rent a car
or take public transport.
