Hello Haromi, my name is David. I noticed you travelled to Canada to get a master in
your Engineering and you went through great experiences, of course I am aware on
how it helped you to learn and improve your skills , however I am excited to know how
was your experience in Canada.
Would you have gone to Canada if you had known there were not many Vietnamese?

3. Describing a place
The tourist location described is Bogota which is the capital city of Colombia, it is
described as one of the largest capitals in South America.
Yes, I have lived in Bogota for 22 years and despite it is the capital city I consider it
special because of the multiple spots and accesible places open to everybody. People
interested in mysticism, history, gastronomy and art can find Bogota as a wonderful
city to take advantage of these topics.
First, all foreigners should visit Monserrate which is the best tourist location nearby
Bogota known by its view and the landcapes viewable from there.
People visiting Bogota definitely have to visit Candelaria and inmerse themselves in the
history of the country by going to the museums, places and restaurants in the área.
If tourists have the opportunity to come to Bogota in October they will coincide with
the Rock al Parque festival which is a public event where a large bundle of important
bands perform their music.
4. According to the video, what is something you did not like about the place?
Bogota is one of the most concurred cities in South America, where everybody who
has a car wants to use it almost every day to go anywhere. This has increased the traffic
in the city making it impasable The security has also decreased due to the bad
managament of the last goverments.

4. Pronunciation activity
These are the five questions I chose and their answers for me:
a) Did you spend much money for your last trip? Was it a fair amount?
The last trip I had was last year when some friends and I decided to go to Girardot, this
was a weekend trip we wanted to do since a long time ago. On the trip we hosted in an
all-inclusive AirBnB with an amazing view of the landscapes.
d) What are the most visited places or tourist attractions in your city?
In Bogota the most inviting place for tourists is "La plaza de bolivar" this place is
historical and not only that, it is also surrounded by museums open to all and delicious
restaurants.
It is called "palo quemado" which is a market almost in the downtown of the city where
you can find everything you are looking for, from popular flower types to the most
unknown type of flower.
Did you go sightseeing on your last trip? What was the most interesting place for
you?
I did not, however when I was 16 I visited Santa Marta and I went sightseeing around
the city center, I found it wonderful and as a one-in-a-lifetime experience.
When I went to Girardot I stayed on a place where I did not have much access to the
whole town, so I missed out many attractions, however I hope to visit it again
sometime.
