Mathematics Project
Following are the details to prepare the given two projects as per council norms –
Project 1
Survey of various types of Bank Accounts and rates of interest offered.
1. Project will consists of Student details, Preface, Acknowledgement followed by the given
topic.
2. Topic will comprise of following sub-parts –
a. Introduction.
b. Definition of various types of accounts (Savings, Current, Recurring, Fixed etc.)
available to the customers and their importance.
c. Paste a photocopy of cancelled cheque on the white portion of practical sheet.
d. Paste a photocopy of an account statement of any bank and of any date.
e. Compare the interest rates offered by various banks (at least 3) in a table format.
f. Conclusion.
3. Project will be submitted in two ways on 16th October 2020 –
a. Offline – In channel file
b. Online – Uploaded in JPG/JPEG/Word File/PDF.
Project 2
Planning a Home Budget.
1. Project will consists of Student details, Preface, Acknowledgement followed by the given
topic.
2. Topic will comprise of following sub-parts –
a. Introduction.
b. Write monthly income of each earning members of the family and income from
other sources.
c. Preparing a chart of monthly expenditure with two columns (Items and
Expenditure amount).
d. Calculate total monthly expenditure.
e. Calculate monthly savings (difference to total income and expenditure).
f. Calculate Yearly savings.
g. Conclusion must include the importance of planning a home budget.
3. Expenditure items in the chart includes the following –
a. House Rent ( Zero in case of own house)
b. Food stuffs
c. Clothing
 d. Education
e. Medical Expense
f. Fuel (Average Value)
g. Electricity (Average value)
h. Entertainment
i. Insurance/Investments
j. Miscellaneous
4. Project will be submitted in two ways on 18th December 2020–
a. Offline – In channel file
b. Online – Uploaded in JPG/JPEG/Word File/PDF.
