Position Summary
Provide solutions and industry expertise to Infor prospects and customers by demonstrating Infor Enterprise
Asset Management (EAM) solutions and the supporting technology. This role targets the strategic objectives and
opportunities with prospects to show value-based solution presentations for and EAM license revenue. The
responsibilities in this role include working alongside prospect stakeholders and Infor sales teams to define and
understand the key indicators driving prospects’ evaluation of Infor solutions. In addition, the solution
consultant coordinates across Infor departments to ensure total solution strategy, value engineering, and
industry-suite selling alongside Infor sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities

 EAM business solution and technology demonstrations 


o Expertise in configuring and demonstrating the Infor EAM solution, including Infor EAM advanced
modules 
o Expertise in configuring and demonstrating Infor technology as it relates to EAM and soliciting the
support of technical resources as required 
o Proficient at leading Infor presentation that target EAM-specific industry verticals of the ASEAN
region 
o Ability to proactively stay current on new Infor EAM product releases and supporting modules,
including 11x technology, within a customer demo context  
o Ability to articulate Infor’s integration capabilities, ION, and typical data flows between Infor EAM
and other applications such as SCADA and ERP.  
o Ability to effectively resolve EAM product functionality questions with the customer’s business user
audience 
o Diligent in maintaining a working, demonstration environment suitable for performing solution
demonstrations and leveraging Infor technical resources as needed 
o Understanding and interested in 2D and 3D (BIM) integration and new technology such as IoT,
Virtual Reality, Machine Learning and artificial intelligence 
 Value-based approach to presales engagements 
o Responsible for tying solution presentation points to strategic objectives and business value to the
prospect organization(s) in the audience 
o Proficiency at leading Infor presentations that reinforce value at various audience levels, including
executives and business users 
o Perceived as a trusted advisor around asset maintenance strategies, asset management, and the
associated purchasing, inventory, and high-level processes 
o Knowledgeable about EAM solution delivery strategies such as on-premise, hosted, SaaS, and the
high-level benefits of each  
 Proactively support EAM license revenue generation by taking ownership of presales engagements 
o Demonstrate leadership during discovery sessions by first understanding prospects’ strategic
objectives, the business opportunity, and the resulting solution needs 
o Maintain CMMS and asset management industry, market, analysts’ and competitors’ insights to
support prospect inquiries during meetings and presentations 
o Travel to customer and prospect sites as required for discovery and solution presentations. In
some cases, web meetings may be required. 
o Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) alongside Infor’s proposal team 
 Enhance the presales community within Infor; team work and innovation are critical to Infor presales
success. It is incumbent on every solution consultant to contribute to the knowledge of the collective team 
o Consistent communication of “learnings”, experiences, and knowledge across the presales
community in order to encourage continuous improvement 
 Contribute new ideas and concepts to the presales team to increase collective team
performance 
 Proactively coach and train other team members and request the same in return 
 Engage other Infor teams such as product management, development, the tech team,
and industry teams to increase solution quality and footprint 
o Alongside Infor sales executives, proactively look across other Infor solutions to identify
capabilities, products, services to complete the total solution during the sales cycle 
 Support Infor EAM department success as a whole 
o Work with Infor Consulting Services (ICS) on post-sale transition and expectations 
o Align Value Engineering (VE) efforts across sales, presales, ICS, and the VE team to promote a
complete VE cycle within EAM accounts. Sales, ICS, and VE teams also have this same
responsibility.   
o Provide product training as required and within reason with cross sell and core teams 
o Participate in tradeshows, user conferences, and sales seminars as required 
o Complete Infor internal reporting such as time reporting and expenses in accordance with the
Infor travel and reporting policies. 
 
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following essential skills, knowledge and attributes:

 BA/BS, or equivalent work experience, graduate degree preferred


 Min. 5 years Pre-sales experience or Consultancy experience
 Good understanding and knowledge of enterprise applications (EAM, APM, CMMS or ERP, SCM,
Warehouse Management)
 Excellent skills with MS office suit, especially Power Point for customer presentation
 Ability to work effectively in a matrix-management environment with extended team members
 Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills in English and at least (1) language
spoken in Asean (Chinese, Thai etc)
 Travel within the assigned territory is required
